Babyfaced blond teen idol Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys has dumped his longtime live-in girlfriend.
The ex-galpal, Mandy Williford, 18, got the boot because she was so jealous of other women that she'd follow Nick into the bathrooms to search for adoring girl fans were were lying in wait.
"Mandy was tied to Nick with a cord," said a source. "During
one concert I saw her trail after Nick when he used a backstage men's room. If any girl fans got close to Nick, Mandy was just plain rude, telling them, 'Don't bother us!' " Nick, 19, and Mandy grew up together in Ruskin, Fla., and have been dating for almost three years. Earlier this year, Mandy moved into Nick's home in Apollo Beach, Fla. But things soon soured and a month ago, Nick told Mandy to move out.
"They used to fight a lot. She wanted to go on the road with him more than he wanted to take her. That was just one of their problems," revealed an insider. "Nick finally got tired of her jealousy and wanted to be a single man again."
