Nick, What's Wrong With You?

Nick, What's Wrong With You?

Don't worry Nick, we won't let ManDUH hurt you any more!

This little section is about our dear Nick Carter. Nick, honey, if you are reading this, we have a question for you...What's wrong with you? What are you thinking behind that thick skull of yours? Okay, okay, so that was two questions, oh well. But seriously, what's up with his sudden attitude chance? Why is he so suddenly rebellious against his family and friends? Nick has depression and very low self-estreem. THroughout his childhood he always considered himself "very unpopular". Nick never had a "normal" chldhood. His parents always pushed him into going to auditions and talent classes. Although he loves his singing and acting career, he wished he would just sit and home and veg-out like a "normal" kid. Of course, Nick has always been there for his family, emotionally, physically, and financially. But since he started dating Shmandy and his family grew to dislike her, he decided to rebel. They've controlled every aspect of his life up to this point, so why should they controll whom he dates? He feels that his parents are trying to make him choose between his family and Manduh. And him, being his low self-esteemed self, chose the bitch. Right now, he feels that he can't find anyone who will respect him for the person he is, not as a Backstreet Boy. So he sticks by Shmandy's side, even though he's incredibly violent to him. But he doesn't care, he wants to piss off his parents.
Jane Carter (Nick's mom) didn't make a very wise decision when she spoke to the National Enquirer about their relationship. We understand that maybe she feels this is the last way to get through to her son, but in reality, it's only pushing him toward Manduh more. It really sounds like he's trying to kick his family out of his life. Has he been hanging around Manduh too long? We think so.

Our message to Nick:
Give it up; you know Shmanduh isn't good for you . You know that you can find someone much better. Someone who will respect you, give you space, be there for you, and most of all, won't abuse you! Just open your heart. If you have to keep your own girlfriend away from your family...that's obviously a sign that something is wrong and you know that.

Our message to anyone else in the same situation:
If you ever have any doubts - even one - about your relationship, your time isn't worth it. In a relationship you should be happy. No guy - or girl - is worth ANY pain.
